In 2021, the International School of Bucharest, in partnership with Fundația Tuna, launched the Together for Ukraine (Împreună pentru Ucraina) Donation Campaign in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. The initiative aimed to support the tens of thousands of women and children fleeing the conflict and waiting at Romanian border crossings.

Through the generosity of our school community, we collected and delivered essential supplies—including sleeping bags, mattresses, instant food, and diapers—offering immediate relief and hope during a time of urgent need.
